Adjectives formed from verbs: In order to change a verb into an adjective,
-ing is added to the verb in English, e.g.: to fly - a flying object;
to read - a reading person. The equivalent of -ing in Dutch is -d(e)
which is added to the infinitive: vliegen (to fly) - een vliegend voorwerp (object);
lezen - een lezende persoon.
